The title of the review is a line on another website that convinced me to buy the barrel, and it is so true. Just the other day i played a Speedball style Attack and Defend game. We played in a ravine about 100 yards across with a bridge at around the 70 yard mark that the attackers had to funnel accross to try and shoot a 55 gallon barrel i was protecting =] It just so happens that the shoot are level to the barrel at 65-75 yards. Needless to say the others players were tired of me defending after a game or two =p After we moved into the woods it was great to be able to play sniper against my opponents while staying 65 yards or so away where there is no chance of them hitting me with their intense barrel drop at that range and inability to arc their shots with the trees overhead. This barrel eliminated all of my fears of how picky the barrel could be. Yes, better paint does mean much straighter shots but when it comes down to it, as long as you can avoid using paint without dimples, you will not be disappointed. I used 1yr old scenario level X-ball paintballs (without a single break but i used them to check how tough the rough patches that put backspin on the paint could be (NO BREAKS AT ALL!!) and marbalizers with more enjoyment than I could ever express. If you like the look of this barrel you'll LOVE it on your marker. Great quality and highly recommended; obviously. (Posted on 3/19/12)
